I'm thinking of cleaning out the Dead Squirrel gallery and removing older work...mostly because the random highlight thumbnails for each section will show older pieces that make me cringe to look at, and might reflect badly on my current level of artistic competence.

Other option would be to have permanent highlights for each section.

...Thoughts?

What about moving older, cringe-worthy works to their own separate section? That way they will still be there for people's viewing pleasure, but it wouldn't reflect your current skill level. Rather, it would show how your style and talent has changed/grown/developed over the past x many years.

Or you could just have the thumbnail be the most recent illustration in the section.

Another vote for the 'Separate Section for Older Work option'

Or I can just turn off random highlights for node albums, so that the front page ones pick a random highlight from ones you've selected to feature...

I like the idea of separate albums for older works.

Made up my mind. Left the old stuff, but added permanent hilights.
